We stated on a previous occasion that the defeat of ISIS in Tikrit by the hands of the brave men of the armed forces and the PMF, will drive the mercenaries into a suicidal and desperate reaction over goals of a spiritual value rather than tactical ones so as to rebuild the collapsed psychological balance of their now-aimless sectors and fighters. But even that possibility became now under suspicion for reasons related to the ISIS’s ability to perform large terrorist operations on the market and mobilization level. However, that didn’t prevent our sectors from being careful and prepared for every emergency and make plans and preparations to face and stop possible threats. And what happened yesterday at Al-Dujail area proves this with the limited attempt to attack the front blockade in the Samilat area, that is located around 10-12 km from the city’s center, which were faced and stopped by our attacking sectors, inflecting massive losses to the enemy, and expelling them into the island’s depth. We read this ISIS attack as follows:
Maneuver and scatter the effort to ease the pressure on them from other areas.
Benefit from suspicious political stands of some inner powers.
Maximum exploit of the unstable American position on the matter of priorities of missions with Anbar and Mosul…
Attempting to achieve victories on the media level..
Exhaust the sectors and continually keeping them busy.
And at the time we are reassuring our people about the stability of the situation in Al-Dujail, Al-Bald, Samara, and Tikrit, we warn that ISIS is bidding on the negligence of the fighters, and that is the dangerous and dead angle in the war which the enemy mostly exploits and sneaks through. That’s why we ask for more vigilance, caution, and alertness, and most importantly putting a stop to the counter war that was blowing in the Dujail’s failed attempt and seeking to market it contrary to the truth, which drove me to make this simple presentation for the situation…
We ask for full awareness in dealing with the news on social media websites about the operations, and being thorough accurate in doing so, and to count on official and trusted sources to be informed with what is happening. As terrorism will try and compensate for what they lose on the battlefield with fake misleading victories information through the media and internet…
