Al-Mosul airport –which is nearly 18 square kilometers – is considered one of the most important approaches reaching to the depth of the Right Coast directly through Al-Tiaran and Al-Jawsaq neighborhoods, and it’s a large block. The Iraqi forces will fight vicious battles via the Special Forces to achieve breaking through ISIS’s defenses which reinforced its immunization in that district as it’s the most important and likely to attack Axis. The Iraqi Forces aims to disperse the enemy’s power, confuse it, drain what is left of its resources, affect its spirits, and force it to either escape or surrender. The situation will depend on the military plan tactics of Iraq and weather it left a place for the enemy to withdraw or it will besiege it inside the city. In my opinion, the Iraqi forces will leave a room in the west side for ISIS-ers escaping the battle field, so as to shorten the war time and reduce loses.
