The grand religious leader His Highness Al-Sayyid Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani \u2013 May he blessed with a long life \u2013 warned from the risk of the aggravating crisis Iraq is going through and from the major consequences if no true correction path was taken. The office of His Greatness said in reply to a questions asked by the France-Presse agency (If no true correction efforts were implemented through the restless chase of corruption and achieving social justice on all aspects, then it\u2019s expected for the situations to worsen more than ever and maybe leading eventually to what no home-loving Iraqi would wish upon their country from division and so – Allah forbid- and he considered that; The politicians ruling the country in previous years take most of the blame for how things ended up now, as they didn\u2019t take in consideration the public interests of the Iraqi people and only cared about their personal, sectarian, and factional interests and split the governmental positions among themselves according to that not on the bases of reliability, integrity, and justice. And they practiced financial corruption and allowed it to even spread into the governmental institutions on a wide spectrum, all with the absence of appropriate planning to what we witness today from bad economic circumstances and regression in the public services, adding: if it weren\u2019t for the spread of corruption through several state institutions especially the security ones, and the bad use of power by the ones in-charge, ISIS would have never been able to take control of a big division of the Iraqi lands.<\/p>\n
